About Dr Sreekar Harinatha

Dr. Sreekar Harinatha did his Plastic & Cosmetic surgery training from the prestigious Christain Medical College, Vellore. It is ranked consistently among the best medical colleges in India. Dr. Sreekar finished his MCh (Master of Chirurgiae) which is the super-specialty degree awarded for specialization in Plastic & Cosmetic surgery after three years in MS general Surgery. He did his MBBS from JJMMC, Davangere, and MS from JNMC Belgaum before pursuing plastic surgery specialization. He is also trained in France, Ireland and Taiwan in various aspects of cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Sreekar has to his credit over 40 publications in indexed scholarly journals and many indexed in the prestigious PubMed & ORCID. He has also written the highly acclaimed book titled: ‘The Male Breast: What you should know about Gynecomastia’. He regularly attends world conferences and meets on cosmetic surgery issues and keeps himself updated with the latest techniques. He specializes in cosmetic surgery with Gynecomastia surgery being one of his prime areas of interest. He regularly operates on gynecomastia patients (about 4-5 per week). This regularity in operating on gynecomastia along with his novel technique of Lipo-Excision has resulted in consistently good results over a long period of his practice.
